A Silkana piece is made for more than one summer. With the right care, it can travel with you from Ibiza to Bali — and through every summer still to come.
RINSE AFTER WEARING
Rinse your Silkana in fresh, cold water after swimming. Salt, chlorine and sand can weaken or damage the fibres if left on the garment.
WASH BY HAND
Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild soap or detergent for delicate fabrics.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Never machine wash, even on a delicate cycle.
DO NOT WRING
Never twist or wring your swimwear. To remove excess water, place it inside a clean towel and press gently.
DRY FLAT IN THE SHADE
Reshape your Silkana and leave it to dry flat on a clean surface, away from direct sunlight.
Do not hang, tumble dry or iron. The weight of the water may stretch the garment, while prolonged sun exposure can fade its colour.
PROTECT THE FABRIC
Allow sunscreen, oils and lotions to absorb into your skin before putting on your swimwear.
Avoid rough surfaces, jewellery and accessories that may catch or damage the crochet.
STORE WITH CARE
Make sure your Silkana is completely dry before storing it.
Fold it gently and keep it in a dry place, away from humidity. Do not hang or compress it for long periods.
